Yes and it's all due to a terrible accident I had when I was a little boy. I spilled a pot of hot coffee all over my face. My mother told me that when she took me to the zoo while my face was healing and my appearance was quite grotesque, that the other children were curious about me but their mothers pulled them away from me. They feared that I had some terrible contagious skin disease.

An outcast was born.

Who is Royiferboy 7?

Rotiferboy 7 is a web based alternate person *(avatar) of pure synthetic origin who from time to time will represent me. Like an actors character he will allow me license to pursue a number of narratives (to go places I would otherwise not go).

What are you going to do after " Vida Moderna"?

The exhibition has been received well and some of the narratives touched upon are worthy of further research. I returned fromMexico City in Septemeber of 2002. While I was there, I develpoed a new body of work which is a clear departure from previous efforts and quite exciting. In addition to this, I have contiued development on several new prjects which I hope will be produced soon.

*Rotifera;

A many celled aquatic organism of microscopic size, between 100 to 2500 microns. Usually they are found in stagnant water in ponds ditches marshes etc. They possess rings of cilia which employ for the purposes of locomotion and ingestion referred to as corona which resemble revolving wheels. Hence the organism has been known as the wheel animalcules.

Rotiferious; Possessing the attributes of a rotifer.

Rotiferal. Feral in this case does not imply neither dead or wild.

*Avatar: In Hindu mythology, the incarnation of a god. Any incarnation or visible manifestation.
